The auto industries in both Brazil and Argentina are again thriving. More OEMs are entering these markets both to meet local demand and with an eye toward exports. Suppliers are being asked to develop or increase production capabilities to meet growing vehicle production volumes. Trade pacts involving both countries and others in the region now permit and even encourage rationalization of production among the member countries. The program will focus on developments in the legal and business environments in the two countries and their effect on foreign investment in the automotive sector in each country.
